Anadia (08/07) – Anadia ancora una volta capitale indiscussa del ciclismo continentale, in modo particolare per le categorie giovanili, con il doppio appuntamento dei Campionati Europei Mountain Bike (6/9 Luglio) e Pista (11/16 Luglio). Dieci giorni di gare, oltre 800 atleti che complessivamente parteciperanno alle gare del ricco programma con una notevole ricaduta in termini di presenze sul territorio: un evento che rappresenta indubbiamente un’importante opportunità per la località che lo ospita.

Chiusa la parentesi MTB, che ad oggi ha regalato all’Italia una medaglia d’oro e una di bronzo, partirà martedì la rassegna continentale su pista riservata a Juniores e Under 23, in scena al Velodromo di Sangalhos fino a domenica 16 luglio. Il settimo campionato europeo di questa disciplina organizzato nella località portoghese, ricca di strutture (velodromo, pista di BMX, MTB, Pentathlon moderno, Judo, Scherma e Ginnastica) che ne fanno uno dei centri più all’avanguardia e moderni per quanto riguarda la preparazione atletica.

Lo scorso anno il ciclismo italiano giovanile ha dimostrato di godere di ottima salute, sbancando l’edizione 2022 con numeri importanti: primo posto nel medagliere per titoli conquistati, 23 medaglie vinte, di cui 16 d’oro, 6 dal settore velocità, tre record italiani ritoccati, più della metà degli atleti presenti in Portogallo a medaglia. Quest’anno i CT Marco Villa e Dino Salvoldi hanno scelto di impegnare 38 atleti per un evento che si prospetta intenso e ricco di elementi tecnici con i suoi 36 titoli in palio.
